Coconut Chutney Recipe Ingredients:

  • Grated fresh Coconut-1 cup
  • Cumin seed-1/2 table spoon
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 table spoon
  • Green chilli-3-4
  • Salt-1/2 table spoon
  • Chana dal-1 table spoon
  • Water-as required
  • Garlic-3-4
  • Oil-2 table spoon
  • Tamarind paste-1 table spoon
  • Curry leaves-4-5

Coconut Chutney Recipe Process:

  1. Take the coconut, chana dal, green chilli and salt in to the grinder.
  2. Allow it to grind. If the course is rough then add little water and once again grind it to make a smooth paste.
  3. In a pan add oil, when the oil gets heated put mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and fry it for few seconds.
  4. Take out the pan from stove and add to the coconut paste.

Now you can enjoy the coconut chutney with idli, vada, dosa and some may like to have with parathas.
